Què és una galeta?
Una galeta (cookie) és un fitxer que es descarrega al dispositiu quan s’accedeix a determinats llocs web (en aquest cas, al lloc web de la Universitat de Barcelona). Les galetes permeten que un lloc web, entre altres coses, emmagatzemi i recuperi informació sobre els hàbits de navegació de la persona usuària o del seu dispositiu i, segons la informació que continguin o la manera com s’utilitzi l’equip, es poden fer servir per reconèixer la persona usuària.
Quines galetes s’instal·len, amb quina finalitat i durant quant temps?

Quan visiteu el lloc web de la Universitat de Barcelona i si heu donat el vostre consentiment, s’instal·laran les galetes següents:

  • Galetes de preferències: permeten recordar informació perquè accediu al lloc web amb determinades característiques que puguin diferenciar la vostra experiència de la d’altres persones usuàries.
  • Galetes estadístiques: permeten analitzar com interactueu amb el lloc web.
  • Galetes de màrqueting: permeten gestionar de la manera més eficaç possible la publicitat que s’ofereix adequant el seu contingut en funció dels vostres hàbits de navegació per tal de mostrar-vos publicitat rellevant per a vosaltres.

Tant les galetes de preferències, com les estadístiques i les de màrqueting es podran mantenir instal·lades en el dispositiu durant un termini màxim de 2 anys.

Algunes d’aquestes galetes són instal·lades per tercers aliens a la Universitat de Barcelona, en concret, per Google (incloent Youtube i Doubleclick), Oracle (Addthis), i Microsoft (Bing), pertanyents a empreses ubicades als Estats Units d’Amèrica que estan adherides al Privacy Shield, així com per Facebook que envia les dades al Països Baixos.

Com puc configurar i desactivar les galetes?

Podeu configurar el vostre navegador perquè no permeti la instal·lació de galetes o les esborri cada cop que el tanqueu. Aquesta configuració es pot modificar seguint les indicacions següents:

  • Si utilitzeu Microsoft Internet Explorer: Eines > Opcions d’Internet > Privadesa
  • Si utilitzeu Firefox: Eines > Opcions > Privadesa
  • Si utilitzeu Google Chrome: Chrome >Preferències> Privadesa i seguretat
  • Si utilitzeu Safari: Safari > Preferències > Privacitat

Us recordem que sempre podeu fer ús de la secció Ajuda de la barra d’eines de la majoria de navegadors per obtenir més informació sobre la modificació de la configuració del navegador. Molts navegadors porten incorporat un mode de navegació privat mitjançant el qual, quan es tanca el navegador, s’esborra tota la informació que s’hagi pogut desar al terminal durant la navegació (per exemple, les galetes). Depenent del navegador que estigueu utilitzant, aquest mode de navegació rep noms diferents. Per als navegadors més comuns:

  • Internet Explorer: navegació InPrivate
  • FireFox: navegació privada
  • Google Chrome: navegació d’incògnit
  • Safari: navegació privada

What is a cookie?

How do I set and disable cookies?

  • If you use Firefox: Tools> Options> Privacy
  • If you use Google Chrome: Chrome> Preferences> Privacy & Security
  • If you use Safari: Safari> Preferences> Privacy

We remind you that you can always use the Help section of the toolbar of most browsers to learn more about changing your browser settings. Many browsers have a built-in private browsing mode that, when the browser is closed, clears all information that may have been saved on the terminal during browsing (for example, cookies). Depending on the browser you are using, this navigation mode gets different names. For the most common browsers:

  • Internet Explorer: InPrivate Browsing
  • FireFox: private browsing
  • Google Chrome: Incognito browsing
