The SICUE mobility program application period is open
The Faculty of Philology and Communication offers exchange opportunities with 28 universities across Spain. Applications can be submitted until 13 February through the new online application platform.
On 30 January, the application period opens for the SICUE mobility program (Exchange System between Spanish University Centers) for the next academic year. Applications may be submitted until 13 February through the University of Barcelona’s new online application system.
The SICUE program allows students to complete part of their studies at another university in Spain with which the UB has an agreement, with guaranteed academic recognition. At the time of application, students may select up to five destination options.
To participate, students must be enrolled in a UB degree program and take a minimum of 24 credits for semester-long stays or 45 credits for full-year stays. Students will be selected based on their academic transcript grade point average.
As a new feature of this call, students will be able to modify or cancel their application while the application period remains open. In addition, once the provisional decision has been published, students may withdraw from the mobility program during the amendment and appeals period, which will take place from 13 to 27 March 2026.
