From July 7 to 10, the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Barcelona will host the second edition of the Catalan Summer School of Psychology, an initiative promoted by the Official College of Psychology of Catalonia (COPC).

Over the course of four afternoons, eight training activities will be offered, covering a wide range of topics and professional fields in psychology. The programme combines theoretical updates with practical tools, aimed at both active professionals and advanced students.

The scheduled sessions will address topics such as:

• Mental strength in sports

• Modern board games as therapeutic tools

• Behavioral addictions: diagnosis, assessment and treatment

• The use of virtual reality in the treatment of mental disorders

• Skills for healthy leadership

• Self-knowledge and self-care in therapeutic practice

• Prevention and clinical intervention in cases of sexual violence against children and adolescents

• Psychology of diversity and best practices with victims of hate crimes and anti-LGTBIQ discrimination
