SEAT S.A.’s Kickstart Programme: a new internship opportunity for Psychology students

News | 05-12-2025

SEAT S.A. has launched a new edition of the Kickstart Programme, aimed at undergraduate, postgraduate and master’s students who wish to gain their first professional experience in a real company environment. Although it is a cross-disciplinary programme, this call is particularly relevant for Psychology students, given the growing presence of psychological profiles in key areas of the automotive sector.

The industry increasingly incorporates psychology-trained professionals to work in fields such as human resources, talent development, workplace wellbeing, ergonomics, UX and human–machine interaction, as well as in projects related to organisational culture and personnel selection. The Kickstart Programme offers students the chance to experience these environments first-hand and apply core competencies of the discipline.

What does the programme offer?

Kickstart provides a comprehensive training experience that includes:

  • Continuous support and feedback from a company tutor.

  • Professional development activities and workshops.

  • Networking opportunities with other internship students.

  • Ongoing training, financial support, and access to meal and transport services.

These internships allow participants to gain experience in multidisciplinary teams and understand how psychological knowledge is applied in technological and industrial settings.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Academic background and language skills aligned with the position.

  • Interest in the automotive sector and organisational work environments.

  • Motivation, initiative and willingness to contribute ideas.

The Kickstart Programme is an excellent opportunity to broaden the professional pathways available to Psychology students and explore new areas where psychological expertise is increasingly valued.
