Concert by the Choir of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Barcelona, under the  direction of  Ahmet Süleyman Bilgin. This university choir is accompanied by the orchestra Salvat Ensemble.

Dido and Eneas is the most known work by the English composer Henry Purcell (1659-1695). It is a three-act opera which narrates the love story of the legendary Dido, queen of Cartago, and the Troyan prince Eneas. 

Attendance is free but there is limted capacity. Tickets (two per person) can be obtained:

  • Online, in the ticket booking website during the week of the concert.
  • In person, on Tuesdays during the week of the concert, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the Unit of Institutional Relations and Protocol (Historical Building of the University of Barcelona, first floor, Paranimph Gallery).
