Iproteos, a spin-off from the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB) and the University of Barcelona, has been awarded with the '2nd RedEmprendia University to Business Spin-off Prize 2012ʼ, conferred during the international ʻRedEmprendia Spin2012ʼ conference.

Iproteos, a spin-off from the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB) and the University of Barcelona, has been awarded with the '2nd RedEmprendia University to Business Spin-off Prize 2012ʼ, conferred during the international ʻRedEmprendia Spin2012ʼ conference.

Iproteos competed with 14 proposals promoted by universities in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Peru and Portugal. In this first edition 130 proposals promoted by 67 Ibero-American universities participated. The first award went to Xeiba Open Innovation Center, promoted by the Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico).
