The rector thanked all those who have been part of the government “at any moment during these four years” for their work. He also affirmed that the people who have just taken office are “a good team of continuity on change”. He remembered that the UB is “the reference Catalan university all over the world”, and he added “We will make an effort in order to serve the University and generate confidence”. In this sense, he demanded, on former and new members of the government, “dedication, discretion and, especially, to bear in mind that we are here to serve the University and society, not to serve ourselves”. He concluded: “This is going to be the main criterion to assess our work”.
