UB releases the site “Aprendre llengües a la UB”
The University of Barcelona has set up the site “Aprendre llengües a la UB” (Learn languages at UB) with the aim of collecting language learning tools and resources offered by several units of the University, such as the School of Modern Languages, Hispanic Studies and the Language Services, among others.
The University of Barcelona has set up the site “Aprendre llengües a la UB” (Learn languages at UB) with the aim of collecting language learning tools and resources offered by several units of the University, such as the School of Modern Languages, Hispanic Studies and the Language Services, among others.
The site, commissioned by the Office of the Vice-Rector for Students and Language Policy and the Office of the Commissioner for Multilingualism, collects more than 100 learning activities: face-to-face and distance courses, with and without teacher support, regulated and non-regulated activities, etc. in 33 languages; they can be found by combining several search tips.
The site also includes certified level tests for 9 languages and a brief description of the levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The website is available for mobile devices (tables and smartphones).
