Until 4 December, the library at the Mundet Campus hosts an exhibition that brings us closer to the figure of the Little Red Riding Hood from three different perspectives: as a literary text, as an artistic model and as a type of editing. Entitled Caputxeta Vermella: per llegir-te millor, it shows the character’s development through illustrated and special editions of the story and gadgets that give information about its scope.

The exhibition enables to go deeper in literary tradition, cultural adaptations and text development throughout history. Moreover, visitors can analyse different materials (particularly books) and their suitability for different reading levels. They can also explore some critical aspects concerning literary and iconic transmission. The exhibition allows understanding, playing with and knowing a type of learning that goes beyond schools' walls.

In order to complement exhibited documents, some online teaching materials —available on campus virtual’s courses— have been created. They include interactive proposals, links and web bibliographies which allow students to go deeper into aspects related to literature, linguistics, art and history.

The exhibition has been organised by the CRAI Library at Mundet, the Department of Teacher Training in Language and Literature, the Department of Teacher Training: Visual and Plastic Arts and the Consolidated Teaching Innovation Group on Teacher Training in Language and Literature, and it has been supported by the Committee of University Extension and Cultural Activities of the Faculty of Education.
