Rector's statement on the Department of Health's instructions
On October 12, the rectors of the Catalan universities had a meeting with the Department of Health and the Directorate-General of Universities. Universities were asked to reduce, for fifteen days, the face-to-face theory lessons, a restriction that does not affect practical lessons nor research. During this week, the Department of Health will publish recommendations, and the University of Barcelona, with its centres, will study how to adapt these.
Meanwhile, we maintain activities as scheduled. The UB will inform the community through its website and other institutional communication channels. We thank the UB community for their understanding and effort.
