“What is this doing here? Less waste at the UB”. New social network contest.
The Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Issues (OSSMA) of the University of Barcelona has launched a social network contest: “Què fa això aquí? Menys residus a la UB”. The aim of the contest is to promote a proper separation of waste among the university community at home and at the university, as well as to promote the prevention and reduction of waste to become a Zero Waste society.

The aim of the contest is to promote a proper separation of waste among the university community at home and at the university, as well as to promote the prevention and reduction of waste to become a Zero Waste society.
From October 26 to November 16, participants can send original photographs and videos to inspire the university community to reduce waste and separate it properly. The contest, sponsored by Acciona, is aimed at TRS, AdSS and the students of the UB.
The contest is part of the campaign to raise awareness on the environment, KEFAXOKI_UB, about waste at the University of Barcelona. During this semester, the digital screens of the centers, as well as the OSSMA Twitter and Instagram accounts (@mediambient_ub) will screen videos on the right containers where we should through the waste we generate at the University, the most common mistakes we have detected.
