The first enrolment period for the masterʼs degree is open until April 15. The degree will start in September. If there are vacant places left, there will be a second enrolment period in May. Students will course a first preparatory phase, to develop general skills related to sustainability, social innovation and transdisciplinary research. The second phase is flexible: it allows students to choose one of the three themes related to sustainability: water, food or health and life. Last, students will carry out a final project on a sustainability-related challenge in collaboration with extra-academic agents (companies, community and society).

The masterʼs degree on Global Challenges for Sustainability is one of the first academic experiences of European universities, created with the support from the EU, that promoted the alliance of higher education institutions in order to establish a more attractive and accessible and European space of higher education. Out of the 41 existing European universities, CHARM-EU is the only one led by a Catalan university. The promotional video of CHARM-EUʼs masterʼs degree is available here.

On Friday, April 9, at 12 noon, there will be a virtual informative session on the master.
