Virtual UB Employment Fair
The University of Barcelona is organizing a virtual fair on employment to take place over three days: the Social and Human Sciences Fair, on April 21; the Sciences and Engineering Fair, on April 28; and the Biomedical Engineering Fair, on May 5, which will be jointly organized by the UB, UPC and UPF. Those interested, students and graduates of the UB, can register until the day each fair starts, filling a form.

The Virtual UB Employment Fair will take place through a specialized platform in the framework where companies and students can get in touch through a chat and videoconferences. To date, more than a hundred companies and institutions have registered in the sessions. The employers will have their stands with information and their job offers as well as internships. Students and graduates can register in the offered places and can publish their resumes and manage the attendance to scheduled activities from these companies, faculties and the Student Support Services of the UB. They will have a test to assess their digital and professional skills.
This year, the online fair groups those fairs that were organized by several faculties. Therefore, the Social and Human Sciences Fair counts on the faculties of Economics and Business and Philology and Communication. The Science and Engineering Fair counts on the participation of the faculties of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Earth Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science, and Pharmacy and Food Sciences. Also, the Biomedical Engineering Fair is aimed at those students coursing their last year and graduates of this degree in any of the three participating universities.
