New formulas to strengthen the collaboration with the European Institute of the Mediterranean
The managing director of the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed), Roger Albinyana, and Lurdes Vidal, head of the Arab and Mediterranean World Department at the IEMed, gathered today with the rector of the UB, Joan Guàrdia, and the vice-rector for Internationalization Policy, Raúl Ramos. The meeting featured the exploration of cooperation formulas to strengthen the collaboration between the UB and IEMed, in order to provide with a broader training offering in the field of Mediterranean studies. The aim is to give more visibility to the Mediterranean reality so that society gets a better understanding of it, and to establish more connections to the research that is carried out in this field.
