Bioètica, dret i societat

The Consolidate Research Group 'Bioethics, Law and Society', of the Generalitat de Catalunya, which constitutes the core of the OBD, has as its principal objective the interdisciplinary study of the ethical, juridical and social implications of the development and application of the biotechnology and biomedicine.

Considering that the normative framework based on agreement and rationalization, with a relevant binding character, is particularly important in the Law and Social state, the group analyzes the legal system constituted by the convergence of moral rules, legal ones and ethics, placing the focus on public policies and their impact on citizens.
