Assistant Professor position in Applied Economics at Universitat de Barcelona (Dpt. of Econometrics, Statistics and Applied Economics)

The Department of Econometrics, Statistics and Applied Economics at Universitat de Barcelona (UB) and the research group AQR-IREA is currently accepting expressions of interest for an Assistant Professor position in Applied Economics. The position is for a five-year contract, set to commence around September 2023- January 2024.

Applicants who demonstrate a strong potential to contribute creatively to our research and educational programs at all levels will be given preference. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic academic community and make meaningful contributions to our research and educational initiatives. The Department, in collaboration with members of the AQR research group, provides teaching for five undergraduate degrees, various M.Sc. programs, and a Ph.D. program, mostly in Applied Econometrics and Statistics.
