The main objective of the UB International Research Projects Office (OPIR) is the management of research projects financed by the European Commission and other international organizations. This includes the dissemination of information, the support for the preparation of proposals (forms and budget) and the economic management (payments, budget control, preparation of financial reports, etc.). The OPIR has two sections: the Promotion Section (Pre-award), which is in charge of supporting the preparation of proposals, and the Financial Management Section (Post-award), in charge of the financial management of most of the typologies of projects granted. Check the directory.

Due to the reconditioning works, the OPIR Promotion Section (pre-award) preferably teleworks, but we have an office on the 2nd floor of the Tower D of the PCB to provide face-to-face service by appointment. Users are kindly requested to contact the technical staff directly by e-mail, via Teams or through the general e-mail address From next January, we will be back on the 4th floor of Tower D.
