The events that took place at the Capuchin friary of Sarrià between 9 and 11 March 1966, during the constituent assembly of the Democratic Union of Students of the University of Barcelona, are known as La Caputxinada. Well-known figures including Salvador Espriu, Ernest Lluch, Oriol Bohigas, Antoni Tàpies and Jordi Solé Tura took part.
