Second edition of the awards for the best TFG and TFM in contemporary theatre studies

The awards for the best TFG and TFM in contemporary theatre studies were created in the academic year 2020-2021, promoted by the Master in Construction and Representation of Cultural Identities (CRIC), the Contemporary British Theatre Barcelona research group, the Facultat de Filologia i Comunicació and the Teatre Lliure.
 
This year, the second edition of these awards is open to works by students from all the Universitat de Barcelona and its affiliated centres.
 
The call for the best Final Degree Project (TFG) in contemporary theatre studies is aimed at all UB students who have presented a TFG qualified with a minimum grade of 9/10. The best work that deals with contemporary theatre (since the 1960s until today) will be recognized. A maximum of two second prizes may be awarded.
 
The Award for the best Final Master’s Research Project (TFM) on contemporary theatre studies is aimed at Master's students who have presented their work and have obtained a minimum grade of 9/10. The candidate works must be focused on contemporary theatre studies, framed from the 1850s to the present. The best research will be recognized and the possibility of awarding a second prize is contemplated.
 
Applications must be submitted between April 1st and April 29th, 2022. All works must be unpublished and self-authored.
 
The organization of this second edition of the awards is once again supported by the Facultat de Filologia i Comunicació, the Vicerrectorat de Recerca of the Universitat de Barcelona and the Fundació Teatre Lliure.
