The 133rd edition and the new stage of  Índice Histórico Español, a magazine founded by Jaume Vicens Vives in 1953 and linked to the Centre d’Estudis Històrics Internacionals de la Universitat de Barcelona.

In its first period (1953-2011), it provided bibliographic information through reviews. Since its foundation, the 124 issues of this period have totaled more than 167,600 bibliographic reviews with the participation of more than 300 collaborators, including specialists and historians in general.

In 2012 he started a new stage led by prof. Antoni Segura, in which the core of the journal of the reviews to states of the question on History of Spain moved, and a new section dedicated to Didactics of history was included. Regular publication of electronically accessible reviews also began.

Now begins a third stage with a renewed management team composed of the teacher of the Section Paola Lo Cascio and the professor of the Section of Ancient History Lluís Pons.

Next Monday, June 14, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Jane Addams Classroom (4th floor) of the Faculty, there will be the presentation of the 133rd edition, as well as the project of the new stage of the magazine .

The event will be attended by Dr. Ricardo Piqueras, dean of the Faculty; Dr. Jaume Dantí, director of the Department of History and Archeology; Dr. Antoni Segura, director of the magazine (2012-2020); Dra. Paola Lo Cascio and Dr. Lluís Pons.

During the event, exposició sobre la història de la revista (1953-2020)   by Dra. Carme Riu, editor-in-chief of the magazine.
