The Conference

The EALE Conference brings together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners in labour economics and related fields, such as education, health, migration, family economics, among others, to share their latest research, discuss policy issues, and network with other academics and professionals. The selection of papers to be presented at the conference is highly selective, reflecting its reputation as one of the leading academic events in labour economics. Each year, more than 900 submissions are received from researchers around the world. Following a rigorous peer-review process, high-quality papers are selected for presentation in parallel and poster sessions.

In addition to its parallel and poster sessions, the EALE Conference features two high-profile plenary sessions with Keynote Lectures delivered by internationally renowned scholars in labour economics. The program also includes 3 Flash Talk panels and a Policy Roundtable, where leading experts present and discuss recent, policy-relevant findings in a dynamic and accessible format. These sessions foster dialogue between researchers and policymakers on relevant policy issues.
