Marc Anglès (Sant Andreu de la Barca, 1993) holds a PhD in Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in Artistic Production and Research from the University of Barcelona. His doctoral research seeks to examine the concept of technology from the opacity of the intermediate processes that make it up, as well as its mediation, influence and repercussion on the user/spectator.

Simultaneously and on these same issues, he has developed his artistic practice by participating in residencies such as Fabra i Coats – Fàbrica de Creació and Ciutat Subterrània with subsequent exhibition at the CCCB. He stands out for his presence at the emerging art fair JustMAD 2017, the runner-up of the Julio Antonio Sculpture Award within the framework of the Tarragona Biennial 2017, the runner-up at the Valls Biennial 2017 for an artist under 30 years old and the Felícia Fuster Visual Arts Creation Aid 2018. He has recently been awarded the Guasch Coranty 2019 Creation Grant, selected at the JCE European Biennial 2019-2021, the 2020 Production Award of the Sala d’Art Jove and selected as a finalist for the Miquel Casablancas Award 2020.

Lastly, he is working as a teacher in the Fine Arts and Design degrees and has held several seminars at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona.
