Sculptor and ceramist and PhD in Fine Arts. Associate professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. I also teach sculpture and ceramics at the Escola Massana in Barcelona and in the official University Master’s degree of the Faculty of Fine Arts UPV/EHU “Master in Ceramics: Art and Function”.
My research and creative activity focuses mainly on sculpture and ceramics.
In sculpture I have worked with a wide variety of materials and disciplines, textile materials, bronze and aluminum casting, resin and fiberglass, wood, metal, glass, etc. I also work with other disciplines that complement my sculptural work such as engraving, Japanese lacquer, the creation of volumes with the basketry technique, etc. In ceramics I have worked with all techniques, from the lathe, modeling, construction and the creation of shapes from molds, etc. With this discipline I have developed small-format works and also large-format works for public spaces.
I have carried out numerous stays in international centers specializing in sculpture and public art and numerous individual and collective exhibitions both nationally and internationally.
