Short biography

Lecturer at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) in the Personality, Assessment, and Psychological Treatments section of the Psychology degree, the master’s degree in Child and Youth Psychology and the master’s degree in General Health Psychology. I’m currently a PhD student in Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Barcelona (UB). The research focuses on the development, implementation and evaluation of mindful and intuitive eating intervention and its relationship with executive functions. Previously, I was for 9 years an associate professor at the UB in the Department of Cognition, Development and Educational Psychology and a collaborate professor in the Psychology degree at the UOC. After finishing my Psychology degree, I studied a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Behavioral Medicine and a research master's degree in Psychology of Cognition and Communication, both at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). I later completed a postgraduate degree in Integrative Psychotherapy at the University of Girona (UdG). I have worked for more than 8 years as a therapist in eating disorders and problems related to food and health habits and affective disorders. Accredited as General Health Psychologist since 2016.
