The teaching load and student’s work in this master’s degree is calculated in ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System), a unified system of the European Union. A ECTS credit corresponds to approximately 25 hours of student work, which are distributed approximately as follows in this master’s degree: master class (32%), directed work and tutorials (20%), and of hours of autonomous work of the student (48%).

In addition to attending the theoretical classes, the students of the master’s degree must comply with a mentoring program, the development of practical personal work, the theoretical works and each subject and the workshop practices. The sculpture workshops of the Faculty of Fine Arts are open from Tuesday to Friday, all day.
The classes are taught at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. During the course there are conferences, sound installations, concerts and some practices at the Centre d’Art Contemporani Arts Santa Monica in Barcelona and in the Hangar center of artistic production.
