Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, born in Barcelona in 1960, he is an architect from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (1988) and holds a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona (2001), with the dissertation The House as an Industrial Object. He has developed an extensive teaching career, with a notable contribution at the University of Barcelona, and has been Head of the Design Laboratory since 2016.
As an architect, he has worked in both public projects—particularly schools and institutional buildings—and in the private sector, with a special focus on single-family and multi-family housing, including both new builds and refurbishment. He has participated in several applied research projects in design, manufacturing, and material culture, consolidating a profile that integrates professional practice, teaching, and research.
