PhD Programs
Our research group hosts PhD students from various doctoral programs at the University of Barcelona, including:
Our doctoral candidates come from diverse national and international backgrounds and are funded through competitive scholarships and fellowships. Their research is carried out in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment, within the framework of international collaborations and cutting-edge scientific projects.
Postdoctorals Opportunities
Our group offers a dynamic environment for postdoctoral researchers to develop their careers as independent scientists. Working within national and European collaborative networks such as CIBERFES, our postdocs engage in cutting-edge projects while progressing toward research leadership and academic consolidation.

Continuing education programs
We were the promoters and coordinators of the Program “Innovating the Joy of Eating for Healthy Aging (INJOY)”.
For three editions (2018–2020), INJOY focused on training entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and innovators, equipping them with the skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to develop solutions, products, and services that support healthy aging, functionality, and longevity.
The INJOY Program was funded for three years by the EIT Health Education Pillar, with the support of EIT, a body of the European Union.
The INJOY collaboration included the University of Barcelona, Université Grenoble Alpes, Abbott, Nestlé, CIBERFES, and the University of Reading.

Using high-throughput technologies, life science researchers can identify and characterize all the small molecules or metabolites in a given cell, tissue, or organism. This non-profit course covers a wide range of topics ranging from understanding metabolomics technologies, data collection and analysis, using pathway databases, performing pathway analysis, conducting univariate and multivariate statistics, working with metabolomic databases, and exploring chemical databases. Hands-on practical tutorials using various data sets and tools will assist participants in learning metabolomics analysis techniques.
