Research groups

The Department maintains an intense scientific activity. The research topics are varied and includes from basic research to translational medicine: the study of the mechanisms involved in various neurodegenerative, hepatic and connective tissue diseases, immunology, the study of signaling pathways in cancer and in Intracellular transport, cell proliferation control, cell therapy and regenerative medicine, neurophysiology of ionic channels, among others.
