Information for the student – Legal Practice (currently being replaced)
Introduction
The master's degree in Legal Practice is designed to provide specialized training for legal experts who wish to focus their careers on practice as lawyers. It therefore covers the prerequisites for legal practice established by Law 34/2006 of 30 October on access to the professions of lawyer and solicitor and the corresponding regulations set out by Royal Decree 775/2011 of 3 June. Accordingly, the programme is taught through the UB Faculty of Law and the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).
The course provides solid, integrated training based on the principle of excellence. It is both academic and eminently practical, and can be oriented toward developing a comprehensive set of professional capacities in the specific area of legal practice in which each student wishes to focus their professional activity.
The master's degree is intended for law graduates who wish to enter the complex world of legal practice and exercise specific professional skills.
