Tutorial action plan

The Tutorial Action Plan (PAT) consists of a tutoring service that is at the service of students while they study the Degree in Modern Languages and Literatures. The aim of this service is to guide them and help them resolve any doubts they may have during their training period.

  1. Helping students, at the beginning of their studies, to integrate into the university world.
  2. Stimulate their interest in modern languages and literatures, and culture in general.
  3. Detect and solve the problems they may encounter during their training.
  4. Attend to students with specific needs.
  5. Guide them, at the end of their studies, with a view to further studies and insertion in the world of work.

1st year: initial welcome meeting

Once the academic year has started, a first meeting is held for first-year students of the Modern Languages and Literatures Degree. This session has the following objectives:

  1. Welcome the students.
  2. Inform them about the operation of the Department and the Sections that make it up.
  3. Guide and advise them on how to approach their studies.
  4. Introduce them to the team of teachers who take care of the tutorials and tell them how to get in touch with them.

1st year – 4th year

Throughout their degree studies, students will be able to contact the teachers of the tutoring team whenever they want to receive advice or have to solve a problem related to their studies.

2nd - 3rd year information session

November
Second and third year undergraduate students are offered an information session on mobility possibilities, national and international exchange programs (Seneca/Sicue, Erasmus, etc.), collaboration grants with departments, subject of "External internships" etc.

4th year

April
Fourth-year students are provided with an information session on Masters, Graduate and PhD programs offered by the Department and other post-degree options.
