PRE-ENROLMENT
Admitted candidates (September 2)
Admitted candidates should consult the information about registration procedure, time-period, prices, etc. (above)
Admitted candidates with foreign studies that are not officially recognized in Spain should obtain authorization from the Rector to study the Master's program before registering (more info above)
When finished the registration of the first-admitted candidates, the available places will be re-distributed between the rest of the candidates.
ENROLMENT
First year students
Admitted candidates can enrol for the Master's Program in the Secretary's Office for Students and Teaching Staff at the Faculty of Medicine (C/Casanova, 143):

Students can find all the information about regulations, procedures, prices, etc. in this webpage (spanish). Admitted candidates must enrol personally in the Secretary's Office for Students and Teaching Staff at the Faculty of Medicine.
Train-up course units:
- Students with first-cycle degrees (Bachelor's degree) of Biology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology can register a maximum of 2.5 credits in train-up course units. The Coordinators of the Master's recommends the course of Phisiopathology.
- Students with first-cycle degrees (Bachelor's degree) of Pharmacy, Medicine and Veterinary Science can register a maximum of 2.5 credits in train-up course units. The Coordinators of the Master's recommends the course of Genetics.
- Students with first-cycle degrees (Bachelor's degree) of Chemical Sciences and Physical Sciences
must successfully complete 5 credits in train-up course units, choosing from the following courses: Phisiology (2.5 credits), Genetics (2.5 credits) and
Molecular and Cell Biology (2.5 credits).
Authorization from the Rector to study the Master's program
Admitted candidates with foreign studies that are not officially recognized in Spain should obtain authorization from the Rector to study the Master's program before registering. The application form and the necessary documentation should be submitted to the Secretary's Office for Students and Teaching Staff at the Faculty of Medicine:

Once authorization is obtained, student will receive information about the enrolment proceeding.
Second year students
Second year students can enrol for the Master's Program in the Secretary's Office for Students and Teaching Staff at the Faculty of Medicine (C/Casanova, 143):

Enrolment regulations
1) Students must successfully complete a minimum of 20 credits and a maximum of 60 credits (65 credits for students are required take 5 credits in train-up course units)
2) Students must successfully complete between 60 and 90 credits, depending on their first-cycle degree qualifications at the time of their admission in the Master's degree:
Students holding first-cycle degrees in the area of Biomedicine (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Odontology and Veterinary Science) may begin the Master's degree in its second year and complete the degree in just 60 credits: |

- 30 credits from teaching blocks 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4, in accordance with the instructions of the Coordination Committee or the student's academic advisor and the academic program regulations:

- Teaching block 0 (train-up course units): students may take at least 2.5 credits from this block.
- Teaching block 1 (Methodology): students must take a minimum of 8 credits from this block.
- Teaching block 2 (Biological Basis of Disease): students must take a minimum of 8 credits from this block.
- Teaching block 3 (Treatment and Prevention of Disease): students must take a minimum of 2.5 credits from this block.
- Teaching block 4 (Biomedicine. Business and Society): students must take a minimum of 2.5 credits from this block.
- Students will choose the remaining credits in accordance with the instructions of the Coordination Committee or their academic advisor.

- 30 credits in the Experimental Project

Students holding degrees in chemical sciences, physical sciences or Engineering must take 5 credits in train-up course units in addition to the 60 credits of the second year to be awarded the Master's degree:

- 5 credits in train-up course units, depending on the student's first-cycle degree qualification at the time of admission and in accordance with the instructions of the Coordination Committee or the student's academic advisor. The train-up course units will be taught in September, before the second year course units begin.

- 30 credits from teaching blocks 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4, in accordance with the instructions of the Coordination Committee or the student's academic advisor and the academic program regulations:

- Teaching block 0 (train-up course units): students can take at least 2.5 credits from this block (as well as the 5 mandatory credits).
- Teaching block 1 (Methodology): students must take a minimum of 8 credits from this block.

- Teaching block 3 (Treatment and Prevention of Disease): students must take a minimum of 2.5 credits from this block.
- Teaching block 4 (Biomedicine. Business and Society): students must take a minimum of 2.5 credits from this block.
