Perceptual and emotional responses to rock art soundscapes
Call for participants! This auditory experiment aims to link the perception of natural sounds and the emotions evoked by these with properties of the (natural) space where these are located. This is a psychoacoustics experiment of the interdisciplinary project “ARTSOUNDSCAPES – exploring rock art soundscapes and the sacred”.
You can participate if you are older than 18 and younger than 35 years old, you don’t have any hearing impairments, you don’t have or have had any neurological or psychiatric condition and you are not taking any medication that affects the central nervous system.
The experiment has a duration of 2 hours in total. You will have to answer to a series of questionnaires before starting. The experiment consists of listening to a series of sounds from natural sources and answering questions about how you perceived the sound and how the sound made you feel.
We pay 10€ per hour of experimental session, in cash, at the moment!. The experiment will develop in our immersive psychoacoustics laboratory immpaLAB, located in the Faculty of Psychology of the UB (Campus Mundet). Respuestas perceptuales y emocionales a paisajes sonoros de arte rupestre
¡Estamos buscando participantes! Este experimento acústico pretende enlazar la percepción de los sonidos de la naturaleza y las emociones que estos evocan con las propiedades de los espacios (naturales) donde se localizan. Este es un experimento de psicoacústica del proyecto interdisciplinar “ARTSOUNDSCAPES – explorando los paisajes sonoros del arte rupestre y lo sagrado”.
Puedes participar si tienes entre 18 y 35 años, no sufres ningún déficit de audición, no padeces ni has padecido ninguna enfermedad neurológica o psiquiátrica y no tomas ninguna medicación que afecte al sistema nervioso central.
El experimento tiene una duración total de 2 horas. Deberás responder una serie de cuestionarios antes de empezar. El experimento consiste en escuchar una serie de sonidos de fuentes naturales y responder una serie de preguntas sobre cómo has percibido el sonido y cómo éste te ha hecho sentir.
Pagamos 10€ por hora de sesión experimental, ¡en efectivo, al momento!. El experimento se llevará a cabo en nuestro laboratorio de psicoacústica inmersiva immpaLAB, situado en la Facultad de Psicología de la UB (Campus Mundet).
