Ghost fishing net removed in the Medes Islands marine reserve

In the last six years have been found and removed up to twenty networks Medes Islands Marine Reserve. A team of researchers from the Faculty of Biology of the University of Barcelona have launched a project to prevent ghost fishing in this protected area. Many networks are small-scale fishing that is allowed but also found seine fishery, prohibited.
