IRBio participates in the European project LIFE+ LimnoPirineus

LIFE+ LimnoPirineus starts on 1 June. It is a project coordinated by the Centre for Advanced Studies of Blanes (CEAB-CSIC) that aims at restoring aquatic habitats and species in high mountains of the Pyrenees. Experts from the University of Barcelona (UB) participate in the project.
The project LIFE+ LimnoPirineus, which will be carried out between 2014 and 2019, has a budget of 2.6 million euros -the European Union funds 55% of the budget (1.4 million euros). The research group from UB is composed by Empar Carrillo, Josep M. Ninot, and Aaron Pérez Haase, from the Department of Plant Biology and the Biodiversity Research Institute of UB
