Names of plants, book
Thursday, October 2, at 19 am, Aula Magna of Edifici Històric of UB will host the presentation of the book: Nom de les plantes (Names of plants). Which contains all the Catalan names of plants documented around the country. Taking part in the ceremony the rector of the UB Dídac Ramirez; Director General of Linguistic Policy, Ester Franquesa; TERMCAT director Jordi Bover; the director of the book, Joan Valles (Faculty of Pharmacy and Research Institute of Biodiversity UB IRBio); botanists Josep Vigo (Faculty of Biology) and Ramon M. Masalles (Faculty of Biology and IRBio) and philologists Joan Veny (Faculty of Literature) and Ramon Solsona.
