"The conservation of seabird populations: the case of Galicia"

Research staff
The talk is about the main conservation problems that have these birds. Be addressed from a particular case, that of
Galicia, although problems with seabirds in this community (oil, predators, fishing gear) are common to all the world's oceans. To do this we will talk of the eight species that nest in Galicia, among which all these conservation problems are dealt: the shag, Cory's shearwater, European storm petrels, the yellow-legged gulls, kittiwake and gloomy, the gabion and common murre although focusing more detail with the shag, the species most studied.
