UB experts collaborate with the Royal Botanic Garden of Cordoba to study planarian

To study the presence of exotic planarians in different urban gardens is the main objective of the collaboration set up between the Royal Botanic Garden of Cordoba and a group of researchers from the University of Barcelona (UB).

The UB group is composed by researchers Marta Álvarez Presas and Marta Riutort, from the Department of Genetics and the Biodiversity Research Institute (IRBio) of the UB, and Eduardo Mateos, from the Department of Animal Biology of the UB, is performing morphological and molecular analyses to identify the species found in Cordoba.
