EHEA-adapted master’s degree courses at the Faculty of Education

Within the framework of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) these programs have a specific academic value. In many cases they are oriented towards doctoral and research programs, but they may also represent options for professional qualification or specialization for university graduates from different study areas.

The Faculty of Education offers EHEA-adapted master’s degree courses, with standard tuition fees, as an up-to-date and innovative response to today’s needs for specialized training in various fields. This training includes the development of new skills, whether in companies and organizations, institutions or recognized research groups.

UB-endorsed master's degrees and postgraduate studies

Article 28.3 of the LRU (Law for University Reform in Spain), as regards the University of Barcelona’s use of its university autonomy, regulates postgraduate training in university extension courses, postgraduate diplomas and master's degrees.

All together, the UB offers the widest range of continuing education courses across all disciplines in Catalonia, and one of the most extensive in all Spain.

The course offering comprises master’s degrees (30 or more credits), postgraduate diplomas (15 credits or more) and certificate courses (up to 15 credits), involving a face-to-face learning, e-learning and blended learning.
