- Anyone who is interested in promoting the health and well-being of themselves and others.
Access requirements: the official qualifications that grant access will be bachelor's degrees (and pre-EHEA degrees) in any area of science or humanities. Applicants who do not hold a bachelor's degree are assessed individually.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
The general aim of the course is for students to gain theoretical and practical knowledge of mindfulness and health, and develop and experience practices of mindfulness and healthy living habits.
Gain theoretical and practical training on the bases of mindfulness, with a focus on promoting people's health and well-being.
Learn the scientific bases and applications of mindfulness on health.
Develop healthy living habits.
Experience first hand a sequential programme of 16 weeks of mindfulness and compassion practices.
