Jerilyn Fisher, del Hostos Community College - CUNY y profesora visitante en la Universitat de Barcelona dentro del programa Fulbright, pronunciará la conferencia titulada "Navigating Girlhood to Womanhood in Fiction by U.S. Latinas". Jerilyn Fisher es coeditora de los volúmenes Women in Literature: Reading Through the Lens of Gender (2004) y Analyzing the Different Voice: Feminist Theory and Literary Texts (1998). Ha escrito numerosos artículos sobre pedagogía feminista, escritoras judío-americanas y sobre las autoras Charlotte Perkins Gilman y Susan Glaspell, entre otras. El acto será en inglés.
