Online archives

Part of the free access records can be found online through the web tool UBDOC. Using UBDOC, you can search for files and documents, browse the records table and the classification table of the UB archives, and consult the authority record for each responsible unit, that describes them and provides data about them (dates, relation with other units, etc.).

With this app, it is also possible to visualize or download the digitized files, created in electronic format from the original file under custody in the archive.

In the home page of the UBDOC app you can find instruction to access the application and select your language.

Records table

The records table is a navigation tool to understand the structure of the records, sub-records, collections and series of the UB archives.

At the bottom of the description file you find a link to the corresponding records, indicating the number of files.

Classification table

The classification table is a navigation tool to understand the structure of the records classification used by the UB and of the other records, according to their functions.

Authority records

The authority records gives access to the description file of each of the units that produces records and documents at the University of Barcelona.
