Gènere, etnicitat, classe: representacions literàries i culturals en anglès

Què s’estudia

El curs explora i analitza una selecció de relats curts, assajos i noveles que problematitzen el concepte classe, gènere i etnicitat i/o racialització al s. XX i XXI al món de parla anglesa. Examinarem com aquests textos dibuixen cartografies sobre les interconnexions existents entre l’expressió artística, la crítica social, i la intervenció política, centrant-nos especialment en el qüestionament de les identitats normatives i les seves repercussions.  El curs es divideix en 4 blocs temàtics:

• BLOC 1: Perspectives teòriques i conceptes clau: gènere, classe, sexulaitat i etnicitat al s.XX-XXI en el món de parla angles.
• BLOC 2: Problemes de gènere: Deconstruint identitats femenines  globalitzades.
• BLOC 3: Lluita de classe. La nova guerra de classe contra les classes treballadores.
• BL.OC 4: Qüestions postcolonials en temps globalitzats. Transnacionalismes i literatures de trauma transgeneracional.

Quina és la línia de pensament

S’analitzaran els textos des de l’enfocament multidisciplinar dels estudis culturals i des de l’enfocament crític i teòric dels feminismes de la interseccionalitat, posthumanisme feminista, els estudis postcolonials i les teories postestructuralistes.
