On November 5, 2025, the RETYDES– Reestructuración territorial y Desigualdades sociales (Territorial Restructuring and Social Inequalities) research group, Department of Sociology, University of Murcia, will host Susana Narotzky and Joan Frigolé for the seminar Las estrategias de reproducción social: un concepto para la investigación (Social Reproduction Strategies: A Concept for Research).
On the same day, there will be a presentation of Antonio J. Ramírez Melgarejo‘s book, Estrategias de reproducción social de las clases populares. Trabajo, crisis y reconocimiento en el sureste español (Social Reproduction Strategies of the Popular Classes: Work, Crisis, and Recognition in Southeast Spain). The presentation will then follow the documentary “Región de Murcia: Territorio y economía política de la producción intensiva de cerdos” (Murcia Region: Territory and Political Economy of Intensive Pig Production), presented by Susana Narotzky.
