I am a Ph.D. student in Brain, Cognition, and Behavior at the University of Barcelona, currently researching the emotional aspects and motivations related to consumption and buying preferences. My thesis is about the influence of personality on consumer behavior and spending habits, supervised by David Gallardo-Pujol.
I have an M.Sc. degree in Identity Studies at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and an M.Sc. degree in Research in Behavior and Cognition at the University of Barcelona.
In 20+ years of clinical psychology experience, I have worked in private practice, healthcare institutions, and NGOs.Also, I am passionate about applying academic knowledge to address real-life problems, having complemented my academic background with entrepreneurship programs such as Founder Institute, EIT Health, and United Nations EMPRETEC.
My academic interests are in the fields of individual differences and personality, consumer psychology, and the influence of technology on human behavior.
