David Saeteros

a Short introduction

I am a predoctoral researcher at the Individual Differences Lab and am currently working in my doctoral dissertation called: Examination of the factor structure of situational perception: ipsative versus rating data.

My research interests are the role that personality traits play on life outcomes, the geographical and cultural differences in personality psychology, personality dynamics, and the study of the way we perceive situations.

I started my research career by working in the field of psychometrics and the validations of personality test, later I was interested in cognitive psychology and executive functions, in particular the working memory updating process. My most recent published work studies the proportion of explained variance that personality and the perception of situations have on behaviors.
