Review on Magnetic nanoparticles: From the nanostructure to the physical properties

Categories: News

Magnetic nanoparticles: From the nanostructure to the physical properties is an invited review done by the Group of Magnetic Nanomaterials on magnetic nanoparticles (NP) research during the last 15 years. Magnetic nanoparticles (NP), provide the critical building blocks for the booming of nanoscience and nanotechnology, with potential application on fields such as health (diagnosis and therapy) and environment (water remediation). This review includes from the synthesis of iron oxide-based NP to how the macroscopic physical properties depend on the nanostructure (physical, chemical, magnetic …) and summarizes some advanced single-particle techniques.
