A two day international conference took place in Barcelona at the UB with the objective to present, promote and discuss the outcomes of the MIELES project and how the conclusions drawn for e-learning in India relate to capacity development in Europe and in other regions of the world.
The conference promoted and aligned to the ongoing EU policy initiatives related to the e-learning field under the ‘Digital Agenda’ of the EU, ‘Opening Up Education’ and ‘EU Higher Education in the World’ and the emphasis it places on ICT and e-learning in international cooperation.
The conference was also a forum to share project results for related capacity building projects (with the Mediterranean, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Africa and Latin America).
