- A Step by Step Guide
In order to carrie out this exercise, MIELES’ partner CARDET developed a questionnaire that gave feedback to partners and support them in the process of analysing their situation, and developed a final guide on “Developing an E-learning Strategy in Higher Education Institutions: A Step by Step Guide”.
- Online course on Machine Learning
In order to facilitate knowledge sharing within India but also between India and Europe, a series of pilots are taking place using NPTEL as a the main platform to launch them. Partners are having the opportunity to design and test a real join activity under the NPTEL platform making the experience available and tested to all the partnership. The pilots are focused in an actual academic topic of interest of partners and implied the set of online courses offered at the NPTEL platform Thus three pilots project will take place in total under the framework of the MIELES project. - Mapping Exercise: Trends in e-learning in India and Europe
This mapping exercise, lead by KTH and the University of Barcelona provides a more profound background assessment of e-learning definitions, trends and practices in higher education in Europe and in India. It consists of desk research and interviews with partner institutions and local and regional government officials and stakeholder organisations where relevant.

- Lessons learnt from the Pilots
This report highlights the outcomes and the lessons learnt from the three pilots conducted under the MIELES Project. Specifically, it looks at the results of the courses developed through the NPTEL platform including the enrollment profile and the institutions that participated in the pilots. It also provides the details on the recording process and teaching assistants, number of submissions and the average assignment score. The “Outcome report: Lessons learnt from the Pilots” is part of the MIELES’ Work Package 3 “Implementing e-learning strategies: e-learning pilot projects” aimed at facilitating knowledge sharing within India but also between India and Europe.
