When you buy an electrical appliance, look at the energy efficiency labels.

Description

When we go to buy a product we must pay attention to all the information that the supplier offers us, including the consumption of energy and water, as this way we can choose the one that best suits our needs. In addition, choosing an efficient model will allow us to save energy and water from the moment we start using it, so that we will also achieve economic savings that will increase over time.

What can I do?

  • When buying an electrical appliance or appliance, look at its energy efficiency label. It informs us about energy consumption, water consumption, CO₂ emissions, and even product noise. Other products such as vehicles or tires also have this information.
  • Compare product energy efficiency labels by model and brand.
  • Choose those products with low energy consumption and which are the most efficient (category A and dark green). While the initial financial expense may be higher, in the short term we will get higher savings.
