Innovation and research in teaching

The establishment of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) that emerged from the Bologna Declaration (1999) has promoted a new concept of learning that is more focused on students and has highlighted the need to develop new teaching strategies that replace or complement the traditional methodologies. In spite of the scarce funding to carry out such a complex task, in our Faculty there are some time ago groups that perform valuable activities within the framework of several improvement projects and teaching innovation (RIMDA program, University of Barcelona), as well as research in teaching (REDICE program, University of Barcelona).
